The emergence and development of the Russia political party United Russia from 2001 to 2017

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vznikem a vývojem politické strany Jednotné Rusko (tzv. proprezidentské strany), která byla založena v roce 2001 a od té doby patří mezi hlavní stranicko-politické aktéry ruského politického systému. Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza působení Jednotného Ruska na ruské politické scéně od roku 2001 do roku 2017. Konkrétně se práce zaměřuje na vznik strany, její volební výsledky na celostátní i regionální úrovni a ideologický profil strany a jeho případné proměny, a to v rámci vývoje ruského stranického systému jako takového, pohledem teoretického konceptu stran moci a dominantní strany.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the emergence and development of the political party Unitary Russia (the so-called "propresidential party"), which was founded in 2001 and since then has been one of the main party-political actors of the Russian political system. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the influence of the United Russia on the Russian political scene from 2001 to 2017. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the emergence of the party, its electoral results at national and regional level and the ideological profile of the party and its possible changes, the party system as such, the view of the theoretical concept of parties of power and the dominant party.
