Abstract:
Pomocí částicových simulací studujeme smyk v granulárních vrstvách. Smýkání probíhá pomocí konstantní smykové rychlosti aplikované na horním okraji vrstvy, zatímco je vrstva podrobena konstantnímu normálovému tlaku. Abstract:
We study behavior of granular layers under simple shear using particle simulations. The shear is generated by constant shear velocity boundary condition and prescribed normal stress. The effects of these controlled parameters are explored and the complex behaviour of granular layers is demonstrated.
