Problems of patient with liver cirrhosis

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce je charakterizovat subjektivní prožívání pacientky trpící onemocněním jaterní cirhózou a zachytit rozdíly v životě před a po diagnostikování nemoci. Metodika: Empirická část je zpracována formou kvalitativní výzkumné metody, kazuistika. Je rozdělena do dvou částí - anamnézu a katamnézu. V anamnéze popisujeme podrobné informace o životě a zdravotním stavu pacientky před diagnostikováním nemoci. Katamnéza je věnována období prvních příznaků, popisu průběhu nemoci, prožívání nemoci a změnám psychického stavu. Primární informace, které byly získány pomocí nestandardizovaného rozhovoru s pacientkou byly doplněny o informace ze zdravotnické dokumentace. Data byla zpracována pomocí koncepčního modelu "Rámec pro posouzení funkčních a dysfunkčních vzorců zdraví" od Marjory Gordonové. Výsledky: V popsaném případu pacientky je poukázáno na řadu obtíží, které sebou tato nemoc přináší. V období před i po diagnostikování nemoci se u pacientky zjistila v oblasti biologických i psychických potřeb nejvíce potřeba výživy, vyprazdňování a v oblasti psychosociálních potřeb. Příznivý vliv na průběh onemocnění během hospitalizace mělo dodržování restrikce tekutin, užívání medikace a vzájemná spolupráce. Závěr: Bakalářská poukazuje na problematiku pacientů s jaterní cirhózou a na jejich potřeby. Veškeré získané informace poukázaly na změnu kvality života pacientky. Pacientům i ošetřovatelskému personálu by tato bakalářská práce mohla pomoci jako zdroj informací, jak kvalitně poskytovat ošetřovatelskou péči a naplňovat veškeré potřeby nemocných s touto problematikou. Rovněž je důležitá důkladná edukace ve všech oblastech onemocnění. Průběh života s tímto onemocněním není vůbec jednoduchý a zatěžuje nemocného po stránce psychické, fyzické i sociální.

Abstract:

Aim: The aim of the thesis is to characterize the subjective experience of a patient suffering from Cirrhosis and capture differences in life before and after diagnosing the disease. Methodology: The empirical part is adapted in the form of qualitative research method - casuistry. The research method is divided into two parts - anamnesis and catamnesis. In the anamnesis will be described detailed information about the patient's life and health before diagnosing the disease. Catamnesis is focused on the period of symptoms, description of the course of the disease, experiencing the disease and changing of mental conditions. The main information was obtained through non-standardized interviews with patients and supplemented with information from medical records. The data was processed with using the Marjora Gordon conceptual model known as Gordon's functional health patterns. Results: In the described case were shown many of difficulties that the patient contend with. Biological and psychological needs, that manifest before and after the diagnosis of the disease, were identified in the areas of nutrition, bowel movement and psychosocial needs. Fluid restriction, medication use, and cooperation have positive consequences on disease progression during hospitalization. Conclusion: The bachelor thesis points to the issue of patients with liver cirrhosis and their needs. All the information has pointed to changes in the patient's life quality. This bachelor thesis can help patients and nursing personnel as a source of information, how to provide quality care and fulfill all the needs of patients with this issue. A careful education of patients in all areas is also important. The life course with this disease is not easy at all and burdens the patients in all respects of mental, health and social.
