Diplomová práce se zabývá pohledem pracující veřejnosti na povolání učitele základní školy. Teoretická část se věnuje postavení učitele ve společnosti od konce 19. století po současnost. Zabývá se také prestiží učitelské profese a přípravou budoucích učitelů. Dále je zde pojednáváno o učiteli-expertovi. The diploma thesis deals with the view of the working population on the occupation of the teacher of primary school. The theoretical part is dedicated to a position of the teacher from the end of 19th century for the present.
