Kúpna zmluva je najrozšírenejším typom zmluvy v obchodnom živote. V zahraničnom obchode najmä pri obchodných vzťahoch z novým partnerom nemožno spoliehať na ústnu formu dohody, preto je dôležitá jej písomná forma kde sú uvedené zmluvné podmienky.
