The topic of my master thesis is "Joseph von Eichendorff and his longing for home based on a few selected poems." This work consists of three chapters. I dedicate the first to the person Joseph von Eichendorff himself, the second to the poet and his poetry, the third to what keeps the memory of the poet up to the present. Téma mé diplomové práce se zabývá německým autorem Joseph von Eichendorrfem a jeho touhou po domovu na základě analýzy několika vybraných básní. Tato práce se skládá ze tří kapitol. V první se věnuji jeho osobě, druhé básníkovi a jeho poezii a třetí tomu, co uchovává vzpomínku na básníka až do současnosti.
