The impact of drought to social instability
Abstract:
Diploma thesis is targeted at determination of correlations of extreme drought with societal instability. Aim is to understand existence of potential correlations and their nature. Tools of analysis are statistical indices in fields of economics and society. Original data on which analysis was done consists of statistics from Syria (before 2011) where drought has happened in 2006-2010.
