Na soudobý kroj na Hanáckém Slovácku je poměrně často nahlíženo s despektem. Je označovaný jako pokleslý, kýčovitý a nejen místní obyvatelé se domnívají, že v brzké době, stejně jako další tradice, vymizí. Tradiční oděv oblékají především mladí lidé při příležitosti hodů, největší lidové slavnosti v každé obci. Abstract:
The contemporary costume of the Hanácko Slovácký region is viewed with contempt. It is labeled as a second-rate, kitsch, and not only the local residents believe that in the near future, as well as other traditions, disappears.
