Contemporary handball slang

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou užívání slangových výrazů v mužské házené. V úvodní kapitole je vymezen cíl výzkumu a jsou popsány zvolené metody výzkumu, které byly použity pro získání dostatečného množství slangismů. Následující část rozebírá odlišné názory autorů, kteří se problematikou slangu zabývají. Třetí kapitola podrobně popisuje způsoby utváření slangových slov. V teoretické části dále nalezneme stručnou charakteristiku vývoje házenkářských her od svého počátku až do současné podoby. V praktické části jsou popsány výsledky výzkumu z několika různých pohledů. Nejdříve jsou objasněny generační rozdíly v užívání slangových pojmenování a poté detailně analyzovány výrazy v jednotlivých věcných skupinách. Slova jsou také podrobena rozboru z hlediska jazykové charakteristiky. V závěru práce nalezneme slovníček 198 házenkářských slangových pojmenování a grafy znázorňující frekvenci užívání v jednotlivých tematických skupinách.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the men's handball slang. At first, the goals of the bachelor thesis are specified and the used methods of slang phrases gathering are presented. Next, the opinions of the existing authors are presented and discussed. Next chapter is devoted to the formation process of slang expressions. Finally, the theoretical part contains brief characteristic of men's handball history. The results are presented in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. At first, the differences in the slang expressions between generations are demonstrated. Then, these expressions are analyzed in detail, including language-characteristic parsing. Finally, the vocabulary of 198 slang expressions and appropriate graphs of usage are presented.
