Baseline analysis for implementation of Corporal Social Responsibility in concrete organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou konceptu Společenské odpovědnosti organizací, jehož podstatou je deklarovaný závazek instituce chovat se nejen eticky, ekologicky a ekonomicky, ale zároveň se zasazovat o zlepšení kvality života zaměstnanců a jejich rodin. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit současný stav připravenosti na implementaci konceptu Společenské odpovědnosti organizace v konkrétní organizaci. Obsahem teoretické části je objasnění základní charakteristiky, filozofie konceptu CSR včetně jeho přínosů pro organizace. Metodologická část konkrétně definuje výzkumnou strategii, výzkumnou jednotku a formu analýzy a hodnocení získaných dat. Výzkumná část na základě provedených rozhovorů ve vybraném zdravotnickém zařízení identifikuje odpovědné aktivity instituce, potenciální přínosy i bariéry implementace konceptu a byla identifikována a definována doporučení pro zlepšení fungování organizace v sociální a enviromentální oblasti řízení, pokud by k zavedení strategie CSR v budoucnosti došlo.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, whose essence is the declared commitment of institution to behave ethically, ecologically and economically, but also to strive to improve the quality of life for employees and their families. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of preparedness to implement the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility in a particular organization. The content of the theoretical part is to clarify the basic characteristics and philosophy of the concept of CSR, including its benefits for organizations. The methodological section specifically defines the research strategy, research set and form of analysis and evaluation of the data. Research on the basis of interviews conducted in selected health care facility identifies the institution responsible activities, the potential benefits and barriers to implementation of the concept. Also recommendations for improving the functioning of organizations in the social and environmental management have been identified and defined, for the case of the implementation of CSR strategy.
