The change of foreign policy of Venezuela since Hugo Chavez presidency
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na proměnu zahraniční politiky Venezuely od nástupu prezidenta Huga Cháveze v roce 1999. Zaznamenává postupné odcizení země od Spojených států amerických a naopak zesílení orientace směrem ke státům Latinské Ameriky, do jejichž čela se má na ropu bohatá Venezuela ambice postavit, včetně speciální formy hospodářské spolupráce – Bolívarské alternativy pro Ameriky ALBA.
Abstract:
The Bachelor thesis aims at the change of foreign policy of Venezuela since president Hugo Chavez inauguration in 1999. It observes gradual alienation of Venezuela from the United States and, on the contrary, strengthened orientation towards Latin America countries, where oil-rich Venezuela poses ambitious leader, including a special form of economic cooperation – Bolivarian alternative for the Americas …more
