Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na politickou činnost Mahátmy Gándhího, který byl jednou z nejvýznamnějších osobností indické historie. První část je věnována Gándhího pobytu v jižní Africe, kde se poprvé představil jako politik. V první řadě mapuje Mahátmovo úsilí o zrovnoprávnění indických přistěhovalců. The Bachelor paper focuses on the political activity of Mahatma Gandhi, who was one of the most important people in the history of India. The first part deals with Gandhi's sojourn in south Africa, where he introduced himself as a politician for the first time.
