The influence of choir singing on musical skills and experience of pupils in primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá dětským pěveckým sborem a jeho vlivem na rozvoj hudebních dovedností, znalostí a prožitků u žáků ZŠ. Cílem diplomové práce je porovnat úroveň dětí navštěvující pěvecké sbory a dětí ostatních. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část je věnovaná vymezení základních hudebních pojmů z oblasti sborové praxe. V části výzkumné pak porovnáváme pomocí dotazníkového šetření znalosti žáků navštěvujících pěvecký sbor s dětmi ostatními. Dále jsou uvedeny názory učitelů na srovnání těchto dvou skupin dětí.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on a children’s choir and its influence on development of musical skills, knowledge and experience of primary school pupils. The aim of this work is to compare the level of musical knowledge of active children’s choir members and other children. The thesis is divided into two parts – the theoretical part and the research. The theoretical part deals with definition of basic musical concepts of choir practice area. The research part compares the level of musical knowledge of two mentioned groups of children. The teacher’s opinions concerning this topic are mentioned too.
