The principles of egual treatment in the labour relations

Abstract:

The Bachelor work is aimed at the sphere of discrimination with the emphasis on labour relations. I mentioned the possibilities of protection from discrimination and analyzed the individual means of protection, which can (to a great degree) contribute not only to better employee awareness but the awareness of all people, who feel to be affected with discrimination, too. The work is made out of five chapters, in which I mainly targeted the observance of the principle of equal treatment in the labour relations. In the preliminary chapters I characterized the concept of "the principle of equal treatment" in general, than I analyzed the individual forms of discrimination and in the third chapter I briefly summarized the legislative norms in the sphere of discrimination in labour relations. In the last chapter, with the practical examples of the employee discrimination solution, I mentioned the fact of the existence of this problem in the population and the need to make every possible thing to lower the appearance of this problem to the smallest possible rate. I hope, that I have contributed to better awareness in solving this complicated issue.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca je zameraná na oblasť diskriminácie s dôrazom na pracovnoprávne vzťahy. V práci som poukázala na možnosti ochrany pred diskrimináciou, rozobrala som jednotlivé prostriedky ochrany, ktoré v značnej miere môžu prispieť k lepšej informovanosti nielen zamestnancov, ale všetkých, ktorí sa diskrimináciou cítia postihnutí. Práca pozostáva z piatich kapitol, v ktorých som sa zamerala hlavne na dodržiavanie zásady rovnakého zaobchádzania v pracovnoprávnych vzťahoch. V úvodných kapitolách som vo všeobecnosti charakterizovala pojem "zásady rovnakého zaobchádzania", rozobrala som jednotlivé formy diskriminácie a v tretej kapitole som stručne zhrnula legislatívne normy v oblasti diskriminácie v pracovnoprávnych vzťahoch. V poslednej kapitole som praktickými príkladmi riešenia diskriminácie zamestnancov poukázala na fakt, že tento problém v spoločnosti existuje a treba urobiť všetko preto, aby sa vyskytoval v čo najmenšej miere. Dúfam, že aj touto prácou som prispela k lepšej informovanosti pri riešení tohto zložitého problému.
