About the Issue Contemporary of Rosary Celebration in Uherský Brod

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce představuje sondu do problematiky týkající se konání růžencové slavnosti v Uherském Brodě v současnosti, a to nejen v rovině jejího průběhu ale také ve vztahu ke společnosti. Snahou bude především zmapovat poslední aktuální roky této události v jejím rozměru církevním i světském. Hlavní otázkou, která nás doprovází po celý výzkum předkládané práce je ta, jakou pozici celkově zaujímá růžencová slavnost pro uherskobrodský děkanát a město Uherský Brod. Dále dotázaní respondenti odpovídají na dílčí podotázky. První z nich je ta, jakou motivaci má oslovený respondent k tomu růžencovou slavnost navštívit. Další dílčí podotázkou, kterou se v předkládané práci zabýváme, je funkce růžencové slavnosti. Následující část práce zpracovává ekonomickou složku a kulturní akce konané v rámci růžencové slavnosti. Pro tuto práci byla zvolena hlavní metoda v podobě kvalitativního terénního výzkumu, který byl prováděn formou řízených rozhovorů s respondenty a jeho následná komparace. Závěr předkládané práce uvádí výsledky dle stanovených výzkumných otázek.

Abstract:

The thesis represents a probe into an issue concerning the organization of a rosary celebration in Uherský Brod nowadays, not only on the level of its course but also in relation to the society. The main effort will be to capture the recent years of the event, its religious as well as the secular dimension. The principal question that accompanies us during the whole research of this thesis is what position in general the rosary celebration occupies from the point of view of both the deanship of Uherský Brod and the town of Uherský Brod. Furthermore the interviewed respondents answer particular questions. First of them is what the motivation of the respondent to visit the rosary celebration is. Next question that we deal with in the thesis is the function of the rosary celebration. Next part of the work treats the economic aspects and the cultural events organized during the rosary celebration. The principal method that was chosen for the thesis is a qualitative field research, which was carried out in a form of directed interviews with respondents and its further comparison. The conclusion of the thesis interprets the results in accordance with the set research questions.
