Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje Mahátmu Gándhíhovi a jeho filosofii Ahinsá. Cílem práce je představit život indického politického a duchovního vůdce Mahátmy Gándhího a zobrazit jeho filosofii Ahinsá, která je založena na odmítání násilí. První část práce se zabývá informacemi o Mahátmu Gándhíhovi, týkající se jeho života, práce, inspirace, následovníků a odpůrců. Druhá část je zaměřena na jeho filosofii Ahinsá a nenásilné kampaně. Na začátku definujeme základní pojmy, jako jsou satjágraha, sajtá a ahinsá a analyzujeme Gándhího filosofii Ahinsá z hlediska teorie. Poté zjistíme, jak funguje jeho učení o nenásilí v praxi, zejména v oblasti osobního života, rodinných vztazích a pracovních poměrech. V další části se zabýváme jeho nenásilnými kampaněmi. Během zkoumání nenásilných kampaní odpovídáme na otázky, které se týkají jeho zájmu o jejich vytvoření, zvolených metod, jejich výsledků a výhod a nevýhod vyplývající při aplikaci ahinsá. Závěrečná část práce obsahuje shrnutí zjištěných faktů o Mahátmu Gándhíhovi, jeho filosofii Ahinsá a nenásilných kampaní.

Abstract:

My Diploma thesis deals with Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophy of Ahinsa. The aim of this work is to present the life of the Indian political and spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophy of Ahinsa, which is based on the rejection of violence. The first part of my thesis deals with the informations about Mahatma Gandhi's life, works, inspiration, followers and his opponents. The second part of my thesis is focused on his philosophy of Ahinsa and on the campaigns of nonviolence. First at all, we are going to define basic concepts as satjagraha, satja and ahinsa and analyse Gandhi's philosophy of Ahinsa from the aspect of the theory. Then we are going to find out, how Gándhi's teaching of nonviolence operates in practice, especially in the area of personal life , family relations and working conditions. The next part of my thesis deals with his campaigns of nonviolence. During the exploration of the campaigns of nonviolence we are answering the questions, which are related to his interest in their creation, chosen methods, their results and the advantages and disadvantages arising in the application of Ahinsa. The final part of this work contains a summary of the ascertained facts about Mahatma Gandhi, the results of the analysis of his philosophy of Ahinsa and his campaigns of nonviolence.
