The image of woman in short stories of Eça de Queirós „Singularidades de uma rapariga loura“, „José Matias“ and „No Moinho“.

Abstract:

This work analyses female characters which were created by Portuguese writer Eça de Queirós in his stories "Singularidades de uma rapariga Loura", "José Matias" and "No Moinho". The work focuses on the internal and external characteristics of the female figures, family relations, love relationships and the surroundings which had an influence on the female personalities. One more purpose of this research is to find out typical features of literary movements of the nineteenth century, which can belong to romanticism, realism and naturalism.

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje obrazu ženských postav v povídkách „Singularidades de uma rapariga loura“, „José Matias“ a „No Moinho“ od portugalského spisovatele Eçy de Queirósa. Práce je zaměřena na vnitřní i vnější charakteristiku ženské postavy, rodinné a milostné vztahy a prostor, ve kterém se pohybuje s cílem najít typické rysy literárních proudů devatenáctého století, romantismu, realismu a případně naturalismu.
