Tools for Semiautomatic Speech Synthesis

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tvorbou difónové databáze pro syntetizér MBROLA. Náročnost tohoto procesu vyplývá z teoretického rozboru, který je popsán v kapitolách 2 a 3. Cílem práce je pak navrhnout a implementovat funkční nástroj, který ve velké míře pomůže uživateli s tvorbou difónové databáze. Analýzou a návrhem této aplikace se zabývá kapitola 4. Nástroj je implementován v jazyce Java, což je popsáno v kapitole 5. Popis, jakým způsobem výsledná aplikace funguje, je umístěn v kapitole 6. Práce ukazuje, že je možno tvorbu difónové databáze dostatečně usnadnit. Tvůrce tak už nemusí trávit velké množství času prováděním rutinních úkonů, ty za něj provede výsledný nástroj.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the diphone database for MBROLA synthesizer. The process of creation is described in theoretical study in chapters 2 and 3. The aim of the thesis is to design and to implement a tool that helps the user with the diphone database creation. Chapter 4 deals with the analysis and the design of this application. The tool is implemented in Java programming language. It's described in chapter 5. Chapter 6 gives an overview of the tool's functionality. Thesis shows the way of improving the process of the diphone database creation. The tool can handle the routine work and save the user a lot of time.
