Approaches to teaching by lecturers of oriental dance

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá přístupy k vyučování u lektorek orientálního tance v kurzech pro děti i dospělé. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, na část teoretickou a část empirickou. Autoři přístupy k vyučování shrnují do rozmanitých typologií. V teoretické části rozděluji typologie přístupů k vyučování podle toho, zda je typologie tvořena na základě přístupů učitelů k obsahu výuky anebo podle přístupů k řízení třídy. Je zde popsáno také pojetí výuky, ze kterého samotné přístupy k vyučování vychází. Dále jsou v teoretické části práce popsány přístupy k vyučování tance a specifika orientálního tance. V empirické části je popsána metodologie výzkumného šetření a následná interpretace zjištěných dat vycházejících z kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl uskutečněn formou rozhovorů s lektorkami orientálního tance. Dále je zde popsáno, jaké cíle si lektorky orientálního tance kladou ve svých kurzech, kde nachází motivaci a inspiraci pro své lekce, jak popisují přípravu na lekci, jak popisují vedení svých lekcí orientálního tance, jak reflektují svůj přístup ke zpětné vazbě a sebereflexi a jaké přístupy k vyučování využívají.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis examines the teaching approaches of oriental dance instructors in courses for children and adults. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical. The authors summarize the approaches to teaching into a variety of typologies. In the theoretical part, typologies of teaching approaches are categorized based on whether they are formed according to teachers' approaches to content delivery or classroom management. It also describes the concept of teaching on which the approaches to teaching are based. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis describes approaches to teaching dance and the specifics of oriental dance. In the empirical part, the methodology of the research survey is described, along with the subsequent interpretation of the gathered data derived from qualitative research conducted through interviews with oriental dance instructors. It also describes the goals set by oriental dance instructors in their classes, where they find motivation and inspiration for their lessons, how they prepare for classes, how they conduct their oriental dance lessons, how they reflect on their approach to feedback and self-reflection, and what teaching approaches they use.
