Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá důvody, které přivedly mladistvé osoby do střediska BETHEL Karviná, jenž poskytuje sociální služby pro lidi bez domova. Cílem mé práce bylo najít odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku. Jaké relevantní důvody vedly mladé lidi ve středisku BETHEL Karviná k tomu, že se z nich stali bezdomovci? Práce reaguje na nový jev ve věkové struktuře bezdomovců, kdy průměrný věk se u těchto lidí posouvá stále níž. Práce je rozdělena do tří tematických částí. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením obecné problematiky bezdomovectví, dospíváním a časnou dospělostí, mladými potencionálními bezdomovci, potřebami bezdomovců, základními problémy spojenými s bezdomovectvím, sociálními službami a bezdomovectvím ve městě Karviné. V metodologické části je popsána charakteristika organizace, cíle výzkumu, hlavní výzkumná otázka a dílčí výzkumné otázky, strategie výzkumu, technika sběru dat, jednotka zkoumání a zjišťování, a organizace výzkumu. Analytická část se následně věnuje rozboru a interpretaci dat získaných výzkumem s cílem zodpovědět hlavní výzkumnou otázku. Závěr obsahuje doporučení, která mohou sloužit sociálním pracovníkům ke změně přístupu své sociální práce s mladistvými uživateli a to tím, že se pokusí důkladně zjistit relevantní důvody příchodu mladistvých bezdomovců a na základě zjištěných skutečností mohou s uživatelem pracovat efektivněji na řešení jeho nepříznivé sociální situace.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with the reasons, which brought adolescent people to social centre Bethel v Karviné, which provides social services for homeless people. The aim of my thesis is to find answer to a main research question. What relevant reasons brought adolescent people in social centre BETHEL v Karviné, to homelessness? The thesis reacts to new occurrence in age structure of homeless people. The average age of homeless people keeps getting down. The thesis is divided to three thematic parts. Theoretical part is dealing with definition of homelessness in general, coming of age and youth, potentially young homeless people, needs of homeless people, basic problems connected to homelessness, social services provided to homeless in town Karviná. In methodological part is described the social centre, the aim of research, main research question and the constituent questions, the strategy of research, the technics of data gathering, unit of research and of survey and the organisation of research. Analytic part is dedicated to analysis and interpretation of the gathered data with the aim to answer the main research question. The conclusion also contains recommendation, which can help social workers to change their approach to young service users by trying to closely find out the relevant reasons of their becoming homeless. With such information the social worker is able to work more effectively with the user on dealing with the situation.
