Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Část A se v první kapitole věnuje geografii, kartografii a dějinám těchto vědních oborů. Ve druhé a třetí kapitole se zabývá dějinami výroby papíru a činiteli způsobující degradaci papíru. Ve čtvrté a páté kapitole seznamuje s archivnictvím a osobou sběratele Karla Uhla. Abstract:
The diploma thesis is divided in two parts. The Part A has got seven chapters. The first chapter contains an introduction to Geography and Cartography and their history. The second chapter is dedicated to the history of paper. The third chapter deals with condtitions, that are required for the preservation of the paper stuff.
