Inflation Targeting in Theory and Practise

Abstract:

Jižní Korea začala používat cílování inflace jako měnověpolitický režim od roku 1998. Tento režim Bank of Korea přijala jako transparentní cíl, který měl přispět k úspěšnému provádění měnové politiky. Bakalářská práce „Cílování inflace v teorii a praxi“ se zabývá vysvětlením okolností cílování inflace a především analýzou jeho praktického užívání v Jižní Koreji v letech 1998-2002.

Abstract:

South Korea started to use inflation targeting as its monetary policy regime from the year 1998. The Bank of Korea accepted this regime as transparent target which should contribute to successful operation of its monetary policy. The thesis „Inflation Targeting in Theory and Practise“ aims to explain inflation targeting circumstances and primarily to analyse its practical use on the example of South Korea during the years 1998-2002.
