Abstract:
Myelodysplastický syndrom (MDS) označuje heterogenní skupinu klonálních onemocnění krvetvorby, postihujících zejména starší pacienty. Genom hematopoetických kmenových buněk těchto pacientů je narušen, což vede k propuknutí nemoci. Pro MDS je typická zvýšená apoptóza klonálních buněk, která vede k cytopeniím v periferní krvi. Abstract:
Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) describe heterogeneous group of clonal disorders of haematopoiesis that affect mainly eldery patients. Genome of haematopoietic stem cells of these patients is disrupted, which leads to outbreak of disorder. In MDS, apoptosis of clonal cells is typical, which leads to peripheral cytopenias.
