Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá kapitálovou primeranosťou a jej plnením vybranými bankami SR. Práca je rozdelená na 3 časti. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá teoretickým vymedzením kapitálovej primeranosti, s čím súvisí vymedzenie banky a jej základných činností.
