Financing sport from public resources in South Bohemia

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma "Financování sportu z veřejných rozpočtů v Jihočeském kraji" pojednává o prostředcích, které plynou z veřejných rozpočtů České republiky do oblasti sportu, a detailněji se zaměřuje na odvětví sportu v Jihočeském kraji. Cílem práce je souhrnně popsat a zhodnotit současný stav financování sportu z veřejných zdrojů v ČR a pokusit se zanalyzovat, zda je toto financování na dostatečné úrovni či nikoliv. V úvodu je vysvětlen význam sportu pro celou společnost, zařazení sportu do veřejného či soukromého sektoru a popsána organizace sportu v České republice. Na konci první části je detailněji vysvětlen způsob financování sportu v České republice se zaměřením na jednotlivé části. Druhá část je zaměřena na financování sportu v Jihočeském kraji. Je zde zobrazen rozpočet Jihočeského kraje se zaměřením na sport a vyčíslena suma mířící na sportovní odvětví. Dále pomocí SWOT analýzy jsou zde vyjmenovány silné, slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby, které se týkají tohoto kraje v oblasti sportu. Závěrem jsou navrhnuta řešení pro Jihočeský kraj, která by napomohla situaci sportu v jižních Čechách zlepšit.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis on the topic "Financing sport from public resources in South Bohemia" deals with public financing of sport in the Czech Republic and in detail focuses on the situation of this sector in South Bohemia. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to summarize and evaluate the present situation in financing of sport from the public resources and to analyze if this financing is adequate or not. In the introduction I explain the importance of sport for the whole society, deal with incorporating sports into the public or private sectors and describe the organization of sport in the Czech Republic. At the end of the first part I explain in detail the methods of financing sport with the focus on particular sections. The second part is focused on financing sport in South Bohemia. You can find the budget of South Bohemia with the focus on sport and there is the specific sum supporting the sport sector. With the help of SWOT analysis I have listed strong and weak spots, opportunities and threats which concern sport in this region. At the end I suggest sollutions for South Bohemia leading to improving the situation of sport in South Bohemia.
