Mythological figures in the literary work of A. Sikelianos
Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is to describe the role of myth in the literary work of A. Sikelianos. The main part of work consists of a translation of two poems of Sikelianos, more specifically we are talking about the poems Ἀνεβαίνοντας τὸν Ὄλυμπο and Ἡρακλής, and their following analysis, which emhasizes the display of mythological figures in them. Cieľom predkladanej diplomovej práce je priblížiť úlohu mýtu v diele A. Sikelianosa. Hlavnú časť tejto práce tvorí preklad dvoch Sikelianosových básní, konkrétne Ἀνεβαίνοντας τὸν Ὄλυμπο a Ἡρακλής, a ich následná analýza, ktorá kladie dôraz na zobrazenie mytologických postáv.
