Regional transport with respect to institutions

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vliv vybraných formálních institucí -- zákonů a vyhlášek, na individuální automobilovou dopravu. V práci je charakterizována doprava v Praze se zaměřením na situaci v Praze 3. Jsou zde uvedeny všechny formální instituce v podobě zákonů a vyhlášek, které se týkají zřízení zón placeného stání. Podrobně jsou popsány právě zóny placeného stání, které fungují na území Prahy. Konkrétně je zde uvedeno, kde přesně zóny jsou, kdo na nich může parkovat a také za jakou cenu. Popsáno je jejich dělení na modrou, zelenou, oranžovou a smíšenou zónu. Pozornost je také věnována dopravní politice a v jejím rámci hlavně parkovací politice. Tato část je zaměřena na potřebu regulace této politiky. Zejména z důvodu rozrůstání měst a zvyšování počtu automobilů. Práce se týká institucí. Popsána je obecná charakteristika institucí, jejich dělení na formální a neformální. Dále je zhodnocena situace s parkováním na vybraném území Prahy 3. Zvlášť je popsána situace v části Jarov, kde se zóny teprve zavádět budou. Na poznatky navazuje část praktická. V té je zhodnocen vliv vybraných formálních institucí, které jsou podrobně rozebrány již v teoretické části, na individuální automobilovou dopravu.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on an impact of the selected formal institutions -- laws and regulations, on the individual automobile transport. There is characterized transport in Prague, focused on the situation in Prague 3. There are listed all formal institutions -- laws and regulation which are connected with paid parking areas. Paid parking areas, which are on territory of Prague, are closely described. Specifically, it is shown here where exactly zones are, who can park on them and for what price. There is also described their division in blue, green, orange and mixed zones. Attention is also paid to transport policy, mainly to parking policy. This part is focused on the need for regulation of this policy. Mainly due to urban sprawl and increasing number of cars. The thesis is connected with institutions. There is described a general characteristic of institutions, their division into formal and informal. In addition, there is assesses the situation with parking in a selected area of Prague 3. Separately, there is described situation in Jarov. The zones will be implemented here in future. The knowledge in the theoretical part is followed by practical part. In the practical part the impact of selected formal institutions (which are described in detail in the theoretical part) on private automobile transport is evaluate there.
