Justification strategies and repressed guilt in selected works of Ernst Frank
Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the justification strategies and repressed guilt in selected works of Sudeten German writer Ernst Frank. The thesis is based on two books – the autobiographical one by Ernst Frank Männer haben immer gebaut and biography of his brother, Karl Hermann Frank, who served as acting Reich protector during the second world war.
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce pojednává o mechanismech zrovnoprávnění a potlačené vině ve vybraných dílech sudetoněmeckého spisovatele Ernsta Franka. Práce vychází ze dvou knih – z autobiografického románu Ernsta Franka Männer haben immer gebaut a z biografie o jeho bratrovi, Karlu Hermannu Frankovi, který během druhé světové války působil jako zastupující říšský protektor.
