Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the life and work of the now forgotten but in his time important architect Karel Ernstberger, who was born in Malovice near Stříbro. He studied under Otto Wagner, worked for a short time in Vienna and returned to his native country after the First World War. Where many buildings were realized. In recent years, his architectural realizations in the surroundings of Karlovy Vary, which were the peak of his work, have been highlighted. The buildings that were built in the vicinity of Stříbrsko are less known or have not been published. This lack was presented in my bachelor thesis. The aim was to present his most important realizations from the vicinity of Střírbsko and they are supplemented with new knowledge gained through the study of historical sources.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývala životem a dílem, dnes zapomenutého, ale ve své době významného architekta Karla Ernstbergera, který se narodil v Malovicích u Stříbra. Studoval u Otta Wagnera, krátkou dobu působil ve Vídní a po první světové válce se vrátil do rodného kraje. Kde bylo zrealizováno mnoho budov. V posledních letech jsou vyzdvihovány jeho architektonické realizace v okolí Karlových Varů, které byly vrcholem jeho tvorby. Stavby, které byly postaveny v okolí Stříbrská jsou méně známé nebo nebyly zveřejněné. Tento nedostatek byl představen v mé bakalářské práci. Cílem bylo představit jeho nejvýznamnější realizace z okolí Stříbrská a byly doplněny novými poznatky získané studiem z historických pramenů.
