Strategic Analysis of the External Environment of Non-profit Organization Domov sv. Karla Boromejského

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je sestavit strategickou analýzu okolí nestátní neziskové organizace Domov sv. Karla Boromejského a určit hlavní faktory, které ovlivňují konkurenční postavení organizace v jejím relevantním odvětví. Teoretická část se zabývá rešerší literatury, která zpracovává problematiku nestátních neziskových organizací a strategické analýzy, včetně popisu metodiky vhodných nástrojů analýzy okolí. Praktická část v prvním kroku zkoumá faktory působící v makrookolí organizace za použití nástroje PESTEL analýzy. V druhém kroku zkoumá faktory působící v mikrookolí organizace za použití nástrojů Porterova modelu 5 sil, upraveného pro potřeby analýzy nestátní neziskové organizace, a analýzy zájmových skupin. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky dílčích analýz a strategická doporučení.

Abstract:

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to compile a strategic analysis of the external environment of non-profit organization Domov sv. Karla Boromejského and to determine the factors that affect the competitive position of the organization in its relevant industry. The theoretical part consists of literature research which deals with the issue of non-profit organizations and strategic analysis, including a methodology description of the external analysis tools. The first step of the practical part examines the factors operating in the macro environment of the organization using PESTEL analysis. The second step examines the factors operating in the micro environment of the organization using tools of Porter's 5 forces model adapted for the needs of the analysis of non-profit organizations, and the stakeholder analysis. In the conclusion are summarized the results of partial analysis and strategic recommendations.
