Práce se zabývá pojetím ženy v knižně publikovaných povídkách a novelách chorvatských spisovatelek vydaných v období mezi dvěma světovými válkami, tedy v letech 1919−1941. Toto téma patří v chorvatském prostředí k marginálním tématům.
