Expression and function of death receptors in various cell types with the focus on stem cells
Abstract:
Práce sumarizuje poznatky o skupině molekul označovaných jako receptory smrti a o jejich ligandech. Část práce se také věnuje receptorům, které mají schopnost kompetitivního vázání ligandů receptorů smrti, a procesu indukce a průběhu apoptózy aktivované pomocí receptorů smrti. V závěru práce je také zmíněna účast těchto receptorů při zhoubném bujení a při ontogenezi lidského organismu.
Abstract:
This paper summarizes the knowledge of molecules known as the death receptors and their ligands. One part of the paper focuses on the decoy receptors, which can competitively bind ligands of death receptors, and induction of apoptosis activated by death receptors. In the last part of the paper the function of the death receptors in cancer and during ontogenesis of human body is described.
