Abstract:

Tato absolventská práce se zaměřuje na téma Prestiže profese sociální práce pohledem jejich studentů. Jejím cílem je na základě kompilace odborných zdrojů a provedené analýzy zjistit, jak studenti oboru sociální práce vnímají prestiž této profese. V teoretické části jsou popsány definice potřebné pro tuto práci a v teoretickém ukotvení se již zaměřuji na vybrané teorie, metody a techniky, které lze využít k problematice prestiže. Práce zahrnuje také příklady etických dilemat, které souvisí s prestiží profese sociální práce. V další kapitole se zaměřuji na principy, funkce a nástroje sociální politiky a jejich propojení s prestiží profese sociální práce, se zákonem a jeho vyhláškou, ve které nalezneme také standardy kvality a etický kodex. Díky analýze potřebnosti se poté pokouším za použití 4 technik prokázat, že prestiž profese sociální práce je v České republice vnímána jako nízká, a to i jejími studenty.

Abstract:

The graduation thesis focuses on the topic of the Prestige of the social work profession from the point of view of students. Its goal is to find out how students of the field of social work perceive the prestige of this profession based on the compilation of professional sources and the performed analysis. In the theoretical part, the definitions needed for this thesis are described, and in the theoretical anchoring, I already focus on selected theories, methods and techniques that can be used for the issue of prestige. The graduation thesis also includes examples of ethical dilemmas that are related to the prestige of the social work profession. In the next chapter, I focus on the principles, functions and tools of social policy and their connection with the prestige of the social work profession, with the law and its decree, in which we also find quality standards and a code of ethics. Thanks to the necessity analysis, I then try to use 4 techniques to demonstrate that the prestige of the social work profession is perceived as low in the Czech Republic, even by its students.
