The synopthophore - principle of the synopthore, working procedures and evaluation of the examination

Abstract:

Práce charakterizuje ortopický přístroj zvaný synoptofor. Přibližuje historii přístroje, od stereoskopů přes amblyoskopy a synoptiskopy až po digitální synoptofory. Popisuje přístroj a jeho základní principy. Zaměřuje se na základnu, ramena, opěrné prvky a přídatná zařízení synoptoforu, jako je Haidingerův svazek a výměnné obrázky. Shrnuje základní diagnostické a terapeutické metody. Přibližuje nácvik simultánní percepce, fúze, stereopse, centrální fixace a normální retinální korespondence.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the synoptophore. It discusses the history of this instrument, including the stereoscope, the amblyoscope, the synoptiscope and the digital synoptophore. It follows with the description of the synoptophore and its basic principles. It concentrates on the base, two independently movable sight tubes and the accessory such as the Haidinger's brush and the synoptophore slides. The thesis summarizes the basic diagnostic and therapeutic methods. It discusses the training of the simultaneous perception, the fusion, the stereoscopic vision, the central fixation and the normal correspondence of retinal points.
