Abstract:

V diplomové práci se soustředím na etnografický výzkum vztahu člověka a zvířete v domácím chovu hospodářské zvěře. Soustředím se na témata jak se nastavují pravidla vztahu, projevy aktérství nelidských zvířete a jak se konstituuje lidství a nelidství a emoční a sociální blízkost v tomto kontextu (život s tvorem, kterého v budoucnu chovat usmrtí). Pro teoretický podklad práce využívám především texty Jacquesa Derridy, Annemarie Mol a Johna Lawa. Ontologický obrat, materiální sémiotika a mezidruhová etnografie jsou vhodné metodologicko-teoretické perspektivy pro zachycení komplexity mezidruhových vztahů. Dovolují popsat rozporuplnou povahu těchto vztahů bez dualitních ontologií příroda-kultura, láska-vykořisťování atd.

Abstract:

In my thesis I focus on ethnographic research on the relationship between man and animal in domestic farming. I focus on the themes of how the rules of the relationship are set, the manifestations of non-human animal agency, how humanity and non-humanity are constituted, and emotional and social proximity in this context (living with a creature that will be killed in the future by breeding). As a theoretical and conceptual frame I use texts of Jacques Derrida, Annemarie Mol and John Law. Ontological turn, material semiotics and interspecies ethnography are appropriate methodological and theoretical perspectives to capture the complexity of interspecies relations. They allow us to describe the contradictory nature of these relations without the dualistic ontologies of nature-culture, love-exploitation, etc.
