Solutions used in care of contact lenses and their assortment of goods on the Czech market

Abstract:

Cílem studie bylo vytvořit obecný přehled roztoků v péči o kontaktní čočky na trhu v České Republice a zjistit stav informovanosti nositelů kontaktních čoček. Dále se pak výzkum zabýval porovnáváním roztoků o různém chemickém složení na kontaktní čočky u vybrané skupiny. První soubor tvořilo 200 klientů z Brna, Liberce a Prahy. K získání dat byl použit dotazník, který obsahoval otázky zaměřené na péči o kontaktní čočky. Získané údaje byly zpracovány v programu Microsoft Excel 2000. Druhého výzkumu se zúčastnilo 20 nositelů konvenčních čoček. Výsledky tohoto šetření byly analyzovány a fotograficky zdokumentovány v programu EYE See WECO. Studie upozornila na řadu nedostatků v dodržování doporučených hygienických zásad u sledovaného souboru. Výzkum poukazuje na nezpochybnitelný význam kontaktologa v péči o kontaktní čočky.

Abstract:

Solutions used in care of contact lenses and their assortment of goods on the Czech market. The objective of this study was to form a general summary of solutions in care of contact lenses on the market in the Czech Republic and to assess the state of awareness of carriers of contact lenses. Furthermore, the survey was focused on confrontal of solutions in different chemical structures of contact lenses by a chosen group. The first file was created from 200 clients from Brno, Liberec and Prague. For the purpose of acquired data there was used a questionnaire which included the questions based on a care of contact lenses. Acquired data were processed in program Microsoft Excel 2000. 20 carriers of contact lenses took part in the second survey. The results of this survey were analysed and photographically documented in program EYE See WECO. The study pointed out the rank of drawbacks in observance of recommended hygienic regulations in this observed file. The survey refers to the evident significance of specialist in care of contact lenses.
