The Interior Monologue as a Literary Phenomenon

Abstract:

The main aim of the thesis is to get to know the literary phenomenon called the interior monologue and to analyse selected monologues from works of Spanish literature, which are La desheredada by Benito Pérez Galdós, La Regenta by Leopoldo Alas Clarín and Tiempo del silencio by Luis Martín-Santos. The thesis includes its definition, division, characteristics, its first appearance in Spanish literature and analyses that involve the same procedure, that is, basic information, plot, and the analysis itself in terms of content and language.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámení se s literárním fenoménem zvaným vnitřní monolog a následná analýza vybraných monologů z děl španělské literatury: La desheredada od Benita Péreze Galdóse, La Regenta od Leopolda Alase Clarína a Tiempo del silencio od Luise Martín-Santose. Práce obsahuje jeho definici, rozdělení, základní charakteristiky, jeho první výskyt ve španělské literatuře a rozbory, které zahrnují stejný postup, tedy základní informace, děj a samotný rozbor z hlediska obsahového a jazykového.
