Main dysfunctions of temporomandibular joint: analysis of the causes and rehabilitation protocols.

Abstract:

The work has the aim to analize the main dysfunctions that can affect temporo-mandibular joint, damaging its function and strength, with particular attention to dislocations, mandibular blocks, bruxism and cephal algies. Then the work will focus on analyzing and explaining the main physiotherapic treatments, connected with the dysfuncions treated, that can be of relief to muscles and that can restore their efficiency.

Abstract:

L'elaborato tender? ad analizzare le principali disfunzioni che possono colpire l'articolazione temporo-mandibolare, danneggiandone funzionalit? e resistenza, con particolare attenzione a sublussazioni, dislocazioni spontanee, sinoviti o capsuliti e bruxismo sia negli adulti che nei bambini. Verranno, poi, analizzati e spiegati i principali trattamenti fisioterapici inerenti alle disfunzioni di cui sopra che si utilizzano per dare sollievo alla muscolatura e per ripristinarne l'efficienza.
