Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit charakteristické styly řízení používané manažery ve společnosti Tennis Agens Mariánské Lázně s.r.o. a provést jejich kritické zhodnocení s ohledem na cíle kladené společností. Práce předkládá doporučení zaměřená na zvýšení efektivity řízení zaměstnanců, která může organizace v budoucnu přijmout. Úvodní segment práce zahrnuje teoretické poznatky získané z rozsáhlého spektra zdrojů. Studie využívá různé techniky sběru dat, a to analýzu dokumentů, pozorování, dotazníkové šetření a polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Tyto metody usnadňují deskriptivní analýzu, GRID analýzu, analýzu motivačních profilů zaměstnanců a nakonec i metodu zobecnění. Společnost zahrnuje různé styly zřízení. Převažujícími styly vedení, které manažeři v analyzovaném vzorku využívají, jsou autoritativní a demokratický. Konzultativní styl je zaměstnanci nejvíce preferován, zatímco autoritativní styl je nejméně preferován. Studie odhalila, že mezi zaměstnanci napříč všemi odděleními organizace panuje znatelná míra nespokojenosti, přičemž k této nespokojenosti přispívá celá řada faktorů. Profily motivace zaměstnanců vykazují různorodou škálu. Z tohoto tvrzení vyplývá, že standardizovaný přístup k řízení nemusí být univerzálně použitelný pro všechny zaměstnance. Zohlednění individuálních potřeb, názorů a emocí je v oblasti řízení nezbytné. Efektivita řízení a konkurenceschopnost podniku jsou na tomto přístupu závislé.

Abstract:

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to determine characteristic leadership styles applied in Tennis Agens Marianske Lazne, s. r. o. and and carry out their critical evaluation with regard to the objectives of the company. The study expects to create a set of recommendations that could be in the future used by the company to increase the effectivity. The first part of this thesis contains theoretical information obtained from a large number of sources. The study uses different techniques of data collection, including document analysis, observation, questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview. These methods help facilitate the descriptive and the GRID analyses, the analysis of the employee motivation profiles and also the generalisation. The studied company applies different leadership styles, the most dominant ones present in the analysed sample are the democratic and the authoritative one. The democratic leadership style is, according to the study, generally preferred by the employees, whereas the authoritative one is the least favourite. The results have shown a significant discontent throughout all the company's departments that is caused by various factors. Large differences in the employee motivation profiles have been discovered, which shows that a standardized leadership style might not be universally applicable for all the employees and that it is necessary to consider their individual needs, opinions and emotions. It is essential for the effective leadership and the competitive ability of the company.
