Economic evaluation of investments in CzechPak Manufacturing, s.r.o company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na investiční rozhodování, které je jednou z nejdůležitějších podnikových aktivit. Cílem bakalářské práce je ekonomické zhodnocení proběhlé investice ve společnosti CzechPak Manufacturing, s.r.o. a poskytnutí možného návrhu na zlepšení procesu rozhodování o investičních projektech. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretické ukotvení problematiky investičního rozhodování z pohledu různých literárních autorů. Ve velké míře je tato část věnována jednotlivým ekonomickým ukazatelům sloužících k hodnocení investic a jejich využitelným výhodám a zároveň nedostatkům. Poslední část je tvořena problematikou provádění post-auditů v jednotlivých podnicích. Ve druhé části je představena společnost CzechPak Manufacturing, s.r.o., jako výrobce nízko-kalorických sladidel a součást korporace Merisant. Hlavní náplní této části je provedení ekonomického zhodnocení investičního projektu a vyhodnocení současného provozu investice. V závěru je shrnuta ekonomická výhodnost investice a zároveň jsou navržena možná zlepšení procesu investičního rozhodování.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on investment decision-making, which is one of the most important business activities. The aim of the bachelor thesis is the economic evaluation of the past investment in CzechPak Manufacturing, Ltd. and providing a possible suggestions on how to improve the process of deciding on investment projects. The first part focuses on the issue from a theoretical point of investment decisions from the perspective of different authors. To a large extent, this part is devoted to individual economic indicators used for assessment of investments and usable advantages and shortcomings at the same time. The last part is focused on the problems of post-implementation audits in companies. The second part introduces the company CzechPak Manufacturing, Ltd., a manufacturer of low-calorie sweeteners and part of Merisant corporation. The main goal of this part is to perform an economic evaluation of the project and evaluate the current state of the investment project. The conclusion summarizes the economic profitability of investments and also contains suggestions for possible improvements in investment decision process.
