Nearest Neighbor Search in Vector Data with FLANN Library

Abstract:

The goal of this project is to study the area of indexation, searching for objects in vector and metric spaces and to test the library FLANN. One part of this work consists of a theory with a description of known techniques, indexing and nearest neighbors searching. Furthermore, the work deals with the description of the test structures. The practical part deals with testing and comparing libraries FLANN and structure M-index.

Abstract:

Cieľom bakalárskej práce je oboznámiť sa soblasťou indexácie, vyhľadávaním objektov vo vektorovom a metrickom priestore a otestovať k tomu určenú knižnicu FLANN. Časť práce tvorí teória spolu s popisom známych techník indexácie a vyhľadávania najbližších susedov. Ďalej sa práca venuje opisu testovaných štruktúr. Praktická časť práce sa zaoberá testovaním a porovnávaním knižnice FLANN a štruktúry M-index.
