Romany women and responsible family

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována otázce zodpovědného přístupu k rodičovství se zaměřením na romské ženy. Práce se snaží zmapovat názory romských, ale i neromských žen a ve výsledku je srovnat a odhalit případné rozdíly. Celá práce je rozdělena do 2 hlavních částí, a to do části obecné a praktické. V obecné části své práce se zabývám historickými kořeny Romů, jejich zvyklostmi a hodnotami. Rozebírám vývoj romského jedince v rámci komunity a zmiňuji se o různých vnějších vlivech, které ovlivňují jejich život. Dále uvádím různé pohledy autorů na rodinu, manželství a rodičovství. Představuji odlišné členění funkcí rodiny, její potřeby, potřeby dítěte a zaměřuji se na mezilidské vztahy, včetně vztahů partnerských. Popisuji také možnosti plánování rodičovství a otázku nezletilých matek. V praktické části práce předkládám výsledky výzkumu realizovaného na území města Ostravy v rámci vybraných obvodů. Popisuji předmět výzkumu, cíl, jehož chci dosáhnout a metody sběru dat. Zjištěné údaje prezentuji formou grafů, tabulek a jejich interpretací.

Abstract:

The graduation thesis is devoted to the issue of responsible approach to parenting with a focus on Romany women. This work tries to map the views of Romany as well as non-Romany women and compare the results and detect any differences. The thesis is divided into 2 main parts, namely in the general and practical. In the general part of my work I deal with the historical roots of the Romany, their habits and values. I analyze the development of Romany person within the community and mention of various external influences that affect their lives. Next I show different views of the authors at family, marriage and parenthood. I´m presenting a different structuring of the family functions, its needs, the needs of child and I focus on interpersonal relationships, including partner relations. I also describe the possibility of family planning and the issue of teenage mothers. In the practical part of the work I submit the results of research realized in the city of Ostrava in the selected districts. I describe the subject of research, a goal which I want to get and data collection methods. The information I present in the form of graphs, tables and their interpretation.
