Témou tejto práce je Advokát v trestnom konaní – jeho postavenie a úloha. Hlavným cieľom je poskytnúť čitateľovi ucelený obraz týkajúci sa postavenia advokáta v trestnom konaní. V úvode práce sú priblížené základné pojmy ako trestné konanie, subjekty trestného konania a procesné strany, rovnako aj právo na obhajobu a jednotlivé druhy obhajoby, ktorých správne pochopenie je kľúčové.
