Employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Zaměstnávání cizinců v ČR“ pojednává o tom, kdo je považován za cizince na území České republiky, jak je možné tyto cizince rozdělit z hlediska možností jejich zaměstnání. Především jaké jsou právní podmínky pro jejich zaměstnání a jaký je nutno podstoupit proces k tomu, aby k samotnému zaměstnání cizince mohlo dojít. Hlavním zdrojem je zákon o pobytu cizinců a zákon o zaměstnanosti a díky tomu tato diplomová práce přibližuje současnou právní úpravu a z toho vyplývající povinnosti jak pro zaměstnavatele, který cizince zaměstnává, tak pro cizince samotného. Na teoretickou část ta praktická logicky navazuje, je zaměřena zpočátku na ekonomické a sociální dopady, ale i na další problémy, které zaměstnávání cizinců s sebou přináší. Zpracovaná data v praktické části pochází z jednoduchého průzkumného šetření, které bylo prováděno s firmami, které mají se zaměstnáváním cizinců své zkušenosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis on the topic "Employment of foreigners in the Czech Republic" deals with who is considered a foreigner in the Czech Republic, how it is possible to divide these foreigners in terms of employment opportunities. Above all, what are the legal conditions for their employment and what is the process that is necessary in order for the foreigner's employment itself to take place. The main source is the Act on the Residence of Foreigners and the Employment Act, and thanks to this this diploma thesis approximates the current legislation and the resulting obligations both for the employer who employs the foreigner and for the foreigner himself. The practical part logically follows the theoretical part, it is initially focused on economic and social impacts, but also on other problems that the employment of foreigners brings with it. The processed data in the practical part comes from a simple exploratory survey, which was conducted with companies that have experience in employing foreigners.
