Problems related to in vitro fertilization in a woman's life

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice in vitro fertilizace v životě ženy. Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce byla snaha přiblížit problematiku neplodnosti ženy a muže, příčiny a léčbu. Také popsání in vitro fertilizace a vysvětlení jejich rizik. Metodika: Ve výzkumném šetření byla použita metoda kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl vybrán záměrně, aby mohla být použita spolupráce s menším souborem respondentek, který tvořilo 7 žen. Ženy byly vybrány dle dvou kritérií - podstoupily in vitro fertilizaci a byly již po porodu. Jako metoda sběru dat byla použita forma individuálního rozhovoru. Výsledky: Na základě analýzy dat byly stanoveny kategorie a podkategorie. První a druhá kategorie se zabývala dobou před in vitro fertilizací. Jak dlouho se snažila o spontánní koncepci, zda si nechali testovat plodnost muž i žena, na čí straně byl problém. Dále jsem se zabývala procesem in vitro fertilizace. Výsledky ukázaly sice rozdílnou dobu spontánní koncepce nebo například rozdílný počet embryotransferů, který byl nutný k oplodnění, ale žádná z žen nechtěla celý proces podcenit a udělaly pro pozitivní výsledek maximum. Nejdůležitější byly pro mne kategorie - průběh těhotenství, jejíž výsledky ukazovaly na problémy během těhotenství, termín porodu, způsob ukončení porodu, a subjektivní prožívání ženy doby od testů až po porod. Výsledky ukazují na podobné prožívání celé situace, kdy je žena ve velkém stresu, napětí, ale zároveň ve velkém očekávání pozitivního výsledku. Závěr: Reprodukce je složitý proces, při němž dochází ke splynutí vajíčka a spermie. Aby toto bylo možné, je zapotřebí správné činnosti pohlavních soustav muže a ženy. Jakmile nedojde po pravidelném pohlavním styku po dobu jednoho roku k oplodnění, mluvíme již o tomto stavu jako o neplodnosti. Příčinami neplodnosti mohou být porucha hormonální činnosti, dále genetické poruchy, anatomické abnormality či imunologické faktory. Díky asistované reprodukci, která je pořád na vyšší úrovni, je možno s tímto problémem bojovat.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is about problems realted to an in vitro fertilization in a woman's life. Main objective: The aim of the bachelor thesis was to approach the problem of female and male infertility, causes and treatment. Other aim was also describe in vitro fertilization and explain their risks. Methodology: The research survey method was applied during qualitative research, which was deliberately chosen to co-operate with a smaller group of respondents, which consisted of 7 women. The women were selected according to two criteria - they underwent in vitro fertilization and were postpartum. A method of data collection was used a form of individual interview. Results: On the grounds of the data analysis were determined different categories and sub-categories. The first and the second categories concerned the time before in vitro fertilization.How long have she been trying to spontaneously conceive, if they both tested their fertility, on whose side was a problem. I have also dealt with the in vitro fertilization process. The results showed a different time of spontaneous conception or a different number of embryotransfer required for fertilization. However, no one wanted to underestimate the proces and made the most of the positive result. The most important categories for me were pregnancy - the result showed problems during pregnancy, the date of birth, the method of termination pregnancy, and the subjective experience from testing to birth. The results show a similar experience of the whole situation when the woman is under a great stress, a tension, but also in a great expectation from positive result. Conclusion: reproduction is a complicated proces in which the egg and sperm are merged. The proper functioning of the sex systems of men and women is essntial to make this possible. If there is no fertilization after regular intercourse for one year, we are already talking about infertility. Causes of infertility can be hormonal disturbances, genetic disorders, anatomical abnormalities or immunological factors. Thankfully, the level of the assisted reproduction continues to grow, making it more possible to combat the problem of infertility.
