Canistherapy with a Person with Combined Disability

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na canisterapii u člověka s kominovaným postižením. Cílem práce je zjistit, zdali má canisterapie efekt na motoriku u člověka se středně těžkou mentální retardací v kombinaci s hereditární spastickou paraplegií, prostřednictvím výzkumného šetření, které bylo realizováno v rámci práce. Teoretická východiska práce jsou obsažena v prvních dvou kapitolách. První kapitola se věnuje kombinovanému postižení, konkrétně pak jeho etiologii a klasifikaci. Dále je v následujících třech podkapitolách popsána diagnostika klientky Magdalény, se kterou byla utvořena spolupráce na praktické části této práce. Canisterapeutický plán, který obsahuje konkrétní aktivity na podporu hrubé a jemné motoriky v jednotlivých canisterapeutických lekcích, byl sestaven na základě kazustiky a předchozích zkušeností s klientkou. Pomocí průběžného pozorování byla provedena analýza efektu canisterapie na motoriku a její výsledky jsou popsány v podkapitole 3.5. s názvem Vyhodnocení vlivu canisterapie.

Abstract:

The bachelor theses focuses on canistherapy with a person with combined disabilities. The aim of the theses is to determine whether canistherapy has an effect on motor skills of a person with moderate mental retardation in combination with hereditary spastic paraplegia through a research survey which was carried out in this theses. The theoretical basis of this work is contained in the first two chapters. The first chapter deals with combined disabilities, specifically its etiology and classification. Furthermore, the following three subchapters describe the diagnosis of client Magdalena, with whom a cooperation on the practical part of this theses was established. The canistherapy plan, which contains specific activities to support gross and fine motor skills in individual canistherapeutic lessons, was compiled on the basis of a case study and previous experience with the client. An analysis of the effect of canistherapy on motor skills was performed using continuous observations and its results are described in subchapter 3.5. entitled Evaluation of the influence of canistherapy.
