Analysis of the System of Secondary Education and its Link to the Labour Market in the South Bohemian Region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje soustavu středního vzdělávání a zjišťuje, zda absolventi středních škol nachází uplatnění na trhu práce v Jihočeském kraji. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři části. První část teoreticky popisuje základní pojmy a východiska v oblasti vzdělávání a trhu práce, popisuje legislativní rámec vzdělávání a vzdělávací politiku v ČR. Také se zabývá vztahem regionu, vzdělávání a trhu práce. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vzdělávací soustavou v České republice a popisuje její stupně. Třetí kapitola představuje střední vzdělávání v Jihočeském kraji a nejvíce vyhledávané obory. Poslední kapitola charakterizuje trh práce v Jihočeském kraji a požadavky ze strany zaměstnavatelů. Závěr shrnuje odpovědi na otázky, které byly položeny v úvodu.Bakalářská práce je zpracována na základě dat a dokumentů z Českého statistického úřadu, Národního ústavu pro vzdělávání, Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy, Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí a dokumentů zpracovaných Jihočeským krajem. V Jihočeském kraji najdeme vzdělávací soustavu, která zahrnuje všechny stupně vzdělávání. Kapacita škol a nabídka oborů je rozmanitá a dostačující, obory odpovídají poptávce na trhu práce. Výjimku tvoří obory ze skupiny Textilní výroba a oděvnictví, které v kraji chybí, a přitom poptávka po těchto profesích je vysoká. Největší zájem je ze strany studentů o obory s maturitní zkouškou, menší pak o učební obory, což odpovídá republikovému trendu. Na trhu práce je aktuálně největší poptávka ze strany zaměstnavatelů po profesích, které vyžadují technické vzdělání. Jedná se zejména o řemeslné a dělnické profese, které většinou vyžadují manuální práci. Nejvíce volných pracovních míst je v okrese České Budějovice, nejméně v okrese Strakonice. Na trhu práce je nedostatek pracovníků. Jedním z důvodů může být nízký počet absolventů, který je způsoben populačním poklesem v minulosti. Absolventi v evidenci úřadu práce ubývají, což svědčí o jejich dobré uplatnitelnosti na trhu práce.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the system of secondary education and determines whether graduates of secondary schools can find employment in the labour market in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into four parts. The first part describes the basic concepts and background in the field of education and the labour market, describes the legislative framing of education and educational policy in the Czech Republic. It also focuses on the relationship between education and the labour market in the region. The second chapter deals with the educational system in the Czech Republic and describes its degrees. The third chapter introduces the secondary education in the South Bohemia region and the most popular fields of study. The last chapter is characterized by the labour market in the South Bohemia region and the requirements of employers. The conclusion summarizes the answers to the questions that were asked in the introduction.Bachelor thesis is based on the data and documents from the Czech Statistical Office, the National Institute of Education, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and documents processed by the South Bohemian region.In the South Bohemian region we find the educational system that includes all stages of education. The capacity of schools and the offer of subjects is varied and sufficient, fields correspond to the demand in the labour market. The exception are fields such as textile production and clothing industry, which are missing in the region, even though the demand for these professions is high. The greatest interest by the students is GCSE courses, then the apprenticeship, which corresponds to national trend. The labour market is currently highly demanding after the professions that require technical training. In particular, the craft and such professions that usually require manual work. Most vacancies is in České Budějovice district, least in the Strakonice district. The labour market lacks workers. One of the reasons may be the low number of graduates, which is caused by a decrease in population in the past. Graduates in the records of the Labour Office decline, suggesting their good applicability in the labour market.
