Decision-making of firms in condition of economic crisis

Anotace:

From 2007 the world has been facing the greatest crisis since the great depression. Companies failed, jobs were lost and governments have had to interview. In current times the economic situation has stabilized and improved. We set out to examine Drucker’s approach to decision making in a time of crisis based on key criteria laid out by Drucker in his teachings. Further we will be comparing Drucker’s approach to how Honeywell International has made key decisions during the economic crisis and analyze the similarities and differences between Peter Drucker’s guidelines and how Honeywell has made management decisions with particular focus to how the company reacted in a time of crisis.
