Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá osobností a dílem slovenského autora fantastické literatury Juraje Červenáka. V první části práce se soustředíme na autorův osobní život a dílo. V jeho knihách se objevují mytologické a historické prvky, proto jsme se v další části rozhodli k analýze dvou vybraných románových cyklů, kde se tyto prvky hojně objevují, Bivoj a Bohatýr. Zaznamenali jsme konkrétní druhy, množství a frekventovanost mytologických i historických námětů. Ty jsme následně komparovali s původními předlohami a názorně demonstrovali jejich autentičnost v knize v poměru k autorově vlastní invenci. Z toho jsme vyvodili autorovy hlavní inspirační zdroje. V poslední kapitole jsme uvedli vývoj Červenákovy tvorby v závislosti na okolnostech, které na autora působily. Z nich je především nutné zdůraznit jeho prohlubující se zájem o historii, který se projevil a projevuje v jeho tvorbě. Z těchto faktů jsme odvodili autorovo další směřování v historicko-fantastické literatuře.

Abstract:

Theme of this thesis deals with life and work of Slovak fantasy writer Juraj Červenak. First part of thesis is focused on author´s personal life and writing.Especially on mythological and historical elements appearing in his books. Second part is dedicated to analysis of selected fictional cycles Bivoj and Bohatýr, where these elements appear. We were looking for specific types and quantity of the mythological and historical topics. Then we compared them with the original patterns and compared their authenticity in the original book models with the author´s own invention. From this part we deduced author´s main sources of inspiration. In the last chapter we introduced the development of Červenak´s creation based on the factors which influenced him. Among them is very important to point out his growing interest in history, which was reflected and manifested in his work. From these facts we deduced author´s future course in historical-fantastic literature.
