Since Garshin did not travel abroad, he formel his views on art chiefly from the works of contemporary Russian artists. Předmětem srovnávání v mé práci je tvorba spisovatele Vsevoloda Garšyna a tvorba malířů Společností putovních vystav. Spisovatel i malíři zanechali velkou stopu v kulturním dědictví nejen ve své vlasti. Ale nejen stopu, ale i perspektivu, která měla velký vliv na vývoj umění jejich následovníků.
